Wii Yoga is a fitness video game for the Nintendo Wii game console. There are currently two yoga video games on the Wii game console: Yoga for Wii by JoWood Entertainment and Wii Fit Yoga by Nintendo. Both games involve the use of a Balance Board and Wii remote under the instruction by a virtual Yoga guru who instructs users on how to do a variety of yoga poses. However, whether you choose to buy Yoga for Wii or Wii Fit Yoga, the question remains &#8220;does Wii Yoga work?&#8221;</p>
<p>Like any other form of <a href="http://www.yoga.com/" target="_blank">yoga</a>, whether or not you <span id="more-89"></span>are going to benefit from <a href="http://www.wiifityoga.com" target="_blank">Wii Yoga</a> depends on your ability to follow instructions correctly. During the standing poses, the board measures the user&#8217;s center of gravity and allocates him or her a score depending on how well he or she is performing the pose. This way, the user can adjust his or her poses accordingly, thereby achieving improved coordination and a better sense of balance.</p>
<p>One challenge that may cause Wii Yoga to be ineffective for beginners is that users have to keep their eyes on the TV at all times so as to see what the trainer is doing. This makes some poses such as the downward facing dog very difficult to do. On this account, experienced Yogis may have an easier time within Wii Yoga when compared to beginners, because they already know what the poses entail. With the head straight and eyes looking straight forward, begin to lift your eyebrows as far up as you can and then maintain hold of that position for a few seconds. Next, lower your brows as far down as possible and hold that position again for a couple of seconds. Relax and then repeat the entire process. You can perform this exercise for the forehead for as many times as you want.</p>
<p>For the Neck and Throat<br />
One <a href="http://copt.info/exercises-to-do-at-computer-desk-to-maintain-healthy-posture/">great exercise</a> for the neck and throat will require you to lie down on your bed and hang your head along the edge of the bed. Tilt back your head as far as you can. Hold this for ten seconds. Lower down your head and then relax for a few seconds. Repeat for five times.</p>
<p>Yet another exercise that will help strengthen and tone the throat and neck area entails tilting back the head and looking into the ceiling. Once in that position, begin a chewing movement with the mouth closed. Chew for ten seconds and then move your head back towards your chest. Relax for a while, and then tilt the head back again and repeat the chewing motion. Do this for twenty times.</p>

Follow this by raising arms up straight over head, then pull each arm down until hands are right beside of ears. Raise and lower arms 10 times. If you can keep small hand weights (or two full bottles of water) at your desk to use for this exercise it will strengthen shoulder and arm muscles and help to build strong bones and correct posture.</p>

<p>The back, legs and buttocks get tired and stiff after sitting for hours working at a computer desk, so stand up 2-3 during the work day and do these stretches which will keep the back and leg muscles stretched to prevent fatigue, cramping and poor posture -<br />
Stand up beside your computer chair and place one foot on the chair. Place hands on hips and lean towards the chair on your bent leg, keeping the leg which is on the floor straight. Lean in as far as you can and hold for a count of five. Repeat with the other leg, doing five stretches with each leg.<br />
Next stand with both feet together and slowly bend over and touch your toes. Hold position for a count of five then slowly raise up, rolling your back as you raise up. Repeat five times.<br />
While out of your desk chair and standing, take a short walk to prevent blood from pooling in your legs which can lead to a deadly blood clot. If walking is not feasible, stand still and raise and lower your body weight on your toes. This mimics the action of walking and will keep the blood flowing in the legs.</p>
